Extended attributes through Form API?

Hi all,

I need to check extended attributes of a DCR selected through
item in another DCR. Is there any way to check extended attributes through Form API? I searched through Form API documentation but could not find any function to get this.

Please suggest.

In this ipl file I'm setting the extended attributes using iwextattr CLT.

But when I run this ipl file, it changes "Modified By" property to "root" and not the actual user in TeamSite. Is there any way to overcome this?

Also if I use call server to get extended atrributes, is there any way to return the output of ipl file back to the form api?

Look for information about iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi, both in the forums and in the manuals.

Read the FormAPI manual and search the forums for examples of how to do this.

To overcome this, you need to take help TS impersonation. iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi is the solution here. You can read more about it in WF guide.

Regarding the 2nd part read about Frame (top level of data capture form/parent).getScriptFrame () in formAPI guide. Your requirement is nothing but basic functionality of callserver.
