WebDesk workarea permissions

Does anyone else get permission problems in WebDesk that do not show up anywhere else?
1) I create a user that author and editor rights. They log in
as editor and see all of their workarea. They log in as
an author, but into WebDeskPro and they see all of their
workareas. Buf if they log in as an author with WebDesk it
will show the workareas that the user has access to but no
files or subdirectories.
2) I create a user that is just an author. If I log in to the
WebDeskPro and click on "Workarea" I get the message that
no workareas are available (and I know they are). But if I
click the "refresh" button I see my list of branches, and I
can navigate to my workarea no problem. If I log in with
the same user to WebDesk I cannot see the workarea AT
ALL. No matter what I do, I can only see workareas that
the user actually owns, not just ones that they have
access to.
