How do i call a CLT in XSL Pt. I need to fetch dcr path and things like that in PT. Can anyone share a example

standard xsl functionallity must be used here.

Your best bet would be to write a java-extension to the xsl-library and do the hard stuff in java. The Xalan website has a good example on how to do this.

An easier alternative is a javascript-extension to xsl but I don't know how to call a clt from javascript. Example again on the xalan-website.

Boy that is *soooo* much easier than putting < iwperl> tags and running system("iwsubmit ....."). Why would anyone still use the perl based TPLS ?

how are you generating the page?

you could pass DCR info as parameters to the XSL pt if you are using xalan.

you could also consider saving all the info you need in the DCR (as xml data), then read it from your PT.
