Cannot add to Custom2 db

I have been trying to add some data to the Custom2 database in Worksite.

Custom2 has the following fields:
Cparent_Alias, Custom_Alias, C_DESCRIPT, Enabled

I have been trying to make use of the InsertParentCustomField method. In using this I get the following error:

"Value does not fall within the expected range."

Any ideas what might be causing this error?
