page id for CSS hook

In wanting to assign a background image via css for the div that livesite calls the page (not the body - it is actually the second child div within the body) there does not seem to be a way to assign an id to it.

Is this not possible to do from a setting? I am assigning an id in js when the page loads as a hack, but it seems strange that no css hook is provided for a livesite "page" - that is a primary div that I would assume many people would have reason to style.

Has anyone else run into this problem?
