httpd.conf settings

Hi All,

Thanks for the replies. I saw the below lines under /usr/opt/Interwoven/apache/conf/httpd.conf

#Interwoven_Change 1
LoadModule iw_ts_rewrite_module /usr/opt/Interwoven/TeamSite/lib/mod_iw_ts_rewrite.so

#Interwoven_Change 2
AddModule mod_iw_ts_rewrite.c

1. Can any one tell me what is the use of module mod_iw_ts_rewrite.so ?
2. Will there any issue if this mod_iw_ts_rewrite.so file migrated to new apache version?

Thanks!
Jenni

1) mod_iw_ts_rewrite is a redirector module, see section "Installing the Redirector Module for Apache" of unix install pdf document to learn how you can install it and use it.

2) i had times when i just copied it and it worked, the module depends on the TS version and Apache version.
what TS version are you running?
Apache version?

mart2001

This is used mainly for Apache SSI when you are doing previewing. It will allow you to rewrite some output of your previewing files while inserting some files.

If you are going to switch to new OS or different Apache versions, you will probably need to recompile that module for that specific version of Apache.

If you look at the file:
mod_iw_ts_vpath.c
under iw-home/src/apache,
you can see that it tells you have to compile the file (with apxs)

Make sure you are using the apxs from your customer_webserver apache, and not from iw-webd.
