File Tests on Y: drive

Hi, we're using TS 6.7.2 on Windows. Everything I test ends up being classified as "other" meaning it failed the other tests.

I'm a bit baffled on why something simple like this would fail?

    foreach my $thisFile (@files) {
        $tempFilePath = "Y:" . "$area" . "/" . "$thisFile\n";
        $tempFilePath =~ s/\\/\//g;
        print LOGFILE "\tthisFile[$thisFile]\n\t";

        if (-d "$tempFilePath") {
            print LOGFILE "directory - $tempFilePath\n";
        } elsif (-f "$tempFilePath") {
            print LOGFILE "     file - $tempFilePath\n";
        } elsif (-e "$tempFilePath") {
            print LOGFILE "   exists - $tempFilePath\n";
        } else {
            print LOGFILE "    other - $tempFilePath\n";
        }
    }

I did test on a regular path on the server and it works fine. I thought the Y: drive was enough like a regular drive that this sort of thing would work?

Any ideas?

I think something is wrong with this particular server. It works fine on another server.
