Hi

I have a requirement to update the extended Property of an generated file when user edits it and re-generates.
I can use '/apps/iw-home/bin/iwextattr -g' command to do so , but this command expects the VPATH of the file.
How can I get that?

Can any one help me on this.

What is your operational context? Are you looking for generated File Vpath from DCR's FormAPI,
tpl/xslt template, WF External/URL/CGI Task, custom menu or something else?

Also - you are not new to the Forum and should know better. Where is your TS / Platform information?

Also note that the '-g' flag for iwextattr is to get information - if you want to set information (as you, sravanjami, indicated) you'd want to use the '-s' flag.
