Preview not calling Save event!

Hi ,

When i am clicking on Preview its not saving the form instead it is directly calling Preview window.

In theory the Preview action should call Save event, but neither i see a Save action in bottom of dcr nor my form api functions called.

So as a work around i added this line of code

-----------------------------------
IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onPreview", handle_preview);

function handle_preview(){
IWDatacapture.save ()
return true;

}

---------------------------------------

This calls for handler function, but still save is not called !!

The only change in the form is the, i have text field with readonly set to true and some default value.

So i assume the form API is assuming all fields are valid, so not calling save function again.

Are you editing an existing DCR or creating a new one? According to the documentation: [indent]If no name is specified, either because it is a new DCR or because setDCRName(null) was called, save() does nothing.[/indent]
