How to add classes to body? (New to TeamSite)

I am creating a template and have attached several CSS documents. But how and where do I add classes to the body in the HTML? Would I use the $PAGE_SCOPE token?

If you want Java classes to render dynamic content, you do this by defining an External element in your Component code. Components get added to Pages or Templates (which are just page fragments).

You can also put non-rendering Java code into Controllers, which execute before the rendering starts to either handle re-directs or to pre-compute information needed by a component later in the rendering cycle.
