Incompatible schema versions error while upgrading MB from 4.5.3 to 4.6.2

Hi,

I have a very Critical issue. Which needs to be resolved asap.

We are upgrading Mediabin server 4.5.3 to 4.6.2.While installing MBAdminconsole.exe, the installation stopped due to error and MBP.log file shows following error.

Incompatible schema versions expected "4.6" found "".

We are upgrading mediabin server with oracle database oracle 9i.

Please need your help.

This usually means that steps have been missed in the upgrade process. The upgrade process saves updating the schema version as its last step for just this reason.

Please ignore anyone who tells you how to update your MBSettings table to get around this problem. That wold be the moral equivalent of telling you how to pull the fuse that lights the Check Engine light.

You should go over the logs produced during the upgrade install (I thing install.log but need refreshing) to see if there were errors during the upgrade. Make sure that you have followed all the steps exactly.

Proceeding without getting this properly diagnosed may lead to data loss.
