My workflow gets stuck at an external task

Hi,
My external task with a perl script gets stuck. This was working sometime back but now it doesn't run the job. The task points to a perl script.

I am able to run the perl script and make the workflow continue.

Any pointers to debug the issue would be greatly appreciated.
