Nested SQL Statement

HI all,

I am extracting the values from DB as inline command, however the nested query is not working as it gives error if mismatch braces.

WORKING -
$sql= qq{SELECT tproduct.code, tproductldf.display_name FROM tproduct, tproductldf where tproduct.uidpk=tproductldf.product_uid ORDER BY tproductldf.display_name ASC };

NOT WORKING -
$sql= qq{SELECT distinct a.code, b.display_name FROM tproduct a, tproductldf b, symproduct c where a.uidpk=b.product_uid AND a.uidpk in (select product_uid from symproduct where bundle_type = 0) ORDER BY b.display_name ASC};

$sth = $dbh->prepare( $sql )
or die "Can't prepare SQL statement: ", $dbh->errstr(), "\n";

Any clue as how to sort it out.

Try to alias subquery result set. Like this:
...AND a.uidpk in (select product_uid AS uidpk from ... where ...)

Also, your outer query "FROM" set seems questionable. Remove "symproduct c" from there, it has
no business being in a/b Join without joining condition in the where Clause.
