Shutting off ask for submit

Can you shut off the prompt for asking to submit dcr into workflow (per dcr, not globally), if so how?

If you do not need a workflow to be kicked off on Closing a DCR, you could have the setup in templating.cfg to not have tt_data event for that template.

But remember, this would stop the prompt for any record you create using that template. With other templates, it will work the same.

Can't you configure available_templates.cfg so that it only prompts on certain branches?

Yes you can and for some of the workflows I have done this. It enables workflows only for the branches and not only branches but I have also used a folder level path for workflow. That way, if a user is kicking off workflow from specified folder, in specfic workarea in a specific branch only then will the worklfow show up.
I used branch path list in available_templates.cfg
