How to set http headers for deployed content

SethHickel

We want to set "if-modified-since" on the http header of files deployed from TeamSite. These files are templated as well as binaries. We would like to be able to set them by file type.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

You'd have to elaborate what your issue really is.

Normally, "If-Modified-Since" is a HTTP Request header, there is no semantics in
putting it into a File, templated or otherwise.

If your Web Server does not support "If-Modified-Since", it simply gets ignored.
If your Web Server supports it, it will check Asset's modification time (and Range
request-header if present) and reply with either newer Entity or return Code 304
(not modified) without message body.
