How to specify order of results from SearchDocuments?

Is there a way to have the returned search results ordered by Custom2 property?

I'm using both:

session.WorkArea.SearchDocuments(objDBList, objProfileSearchParams, true)
session.WorkArea.SearchDocumentsEx(objDBList, objQuery)

Is this possible?

Sorting Search Results

"All collections can be sorted on one or more fields. By creating a custom IManObjectSort class,
you can define the columns on which to sort and the sort order."

There is a brief example in the WorkSiteCOM Developer's Reference Guide.

There is a more detailed example in the SDK 8.0 Sample App which is also included in the 8.5 SDK.
