UVFS compilation failure

While trying to compile uvfs 2.0.3 using gcc, I hit an error in the gmake. If anyone has seen this and resolved similar issue, please let me know.

# gmake
/usr/bin/gcc -g -O3 -Wall -I. -c -o uvfs_signal.o uvfs_signal.cc
gcc: error trying to exec 'cc1plus': execvp: No such file or directory
gmake: *** [uvfs_signal.o] Error 1

How about just using make?

First , check if you have the gcc library installed.Second You need to make sure that you have the right version of gcc lib.

What version Linux do you have and who installed it for you. I recommend using Yum to install it as it checks for any dependencies and installs them accordingly.

it wont work. he has to use gmake as the README instructions state.
