Invalid Session Problems

I am setting up templating within a relatively new instance of Teamsite. All is going well, except that I am experiencing issues when I try to delete a record through the WebDesk interface. When a record deletion is attempted, an empty window pops and then an error box comes up: "Teamsite Templating iwdeletedcr. Error: Invalid Session String Received. Please contact your system administrator." My administrator is a tad bit inexperienced and does not know what is up.

Can anyone point us in the right direction as to what is the underlying problems?
