How to change the Master Locale for a branch

On TeamSite 7.2 , Is there any way to change the Master Locale for any branch.

Suppose initially the Master Locale for a branch CONTENT was ES.
Whats the way to change the master locale to EN.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Perhaps I missed something - but I don't believe TeamSite provides for branch-by-branch locale configuration, I believe the locale setting is server-wide.

This doesn't mean you cannot have content in different languages within different (or even the same) branch - just that the file system will handle files and directories according to the server locale setting.

Is the metadata item TeamSite/Metadata/Locale automatically set based on the server locale?

We are in TS 6.7.2 and this extended attribut is being set every time we tag a file, but we did not configure it to set this value.
