Is TS accessibility compliant

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know if anyone has idea on whether TS 6.7.2 SP2 is accessibility compliant? According to me it might not be; because I've looked in to the CSS and HTML source of many pages and they are coded without following the W3C standard.

However, just need to sure before coming to any conclusion coz the answer goes to the client.

Unless someone here knows for sure, I would first ask this of Autonomy Interwoven.

Since accessibility is something that has been litigated with many companies of recent, if Autonomy has not already done this they are sure to consider it in future releases.

As a side note IMO: This is still something fairly new for most companies; of the majority who do practice it, it’s typically only for public facing applications not internal ones like TeamSite is.

I've already confirmed with Autonomy team. They had done the compatibility tests on TS 6.5 and the PDF matrix with the same was also provided. However, its of no use as we are using TS 6.7.2 SP2. Below is the response from the support.

In October, 2003 Interwoven released its results from an independant research company stating the Section 508 compliance levels for the TeamSite product. The findings were that Interwovem's TeamSite product was "average" in its section 508 compliancy when compared to other similar products, and that very few products in the industry are 100% 508 compliant.

Also refer the Knowledge Base Article: 51211 for more details.

However, the results for the latest version is still not available. Hoping to get them soon from Autonomy.
