Sending an email

Anyone has an idea how to send an email using PERL in teamsite?. I want to test whether the mail functionality onthe teamsite server is working or not.
Appreciate if you could share your experience on this.

Take a look at /iwhome/local/config/wft/solutions/iw_solution_email.ipl and /iwhome/bin/iwsend_mail.ipl. Note that these modules use different Mail Clients

Hi,

I know this is a old one but may be oneday some one will need some advice if your sendmail i.w msg->send; is not working i a server then look for the below in the above files and it will work ...

MIME::Lite->send('smtp', "$mailserver", Timeout=>60,
Debug => $DEBUG);
