TS 7.1 performance ?

Anyone do performance tests with 7.1 ?

Customer has a script, I used on my Linux VM (2 copies, 6.7.2 and 7.1)

2000 assets (1GB) on the prod branch, this basically populates the dev branch with updated data.

Steps are:

rm -rf everything
submit delete
update from prod
submit

For 6.7.2, the numbers are
delete - 34 seconds
submit delete -13 seconds
update from prod - 32 seconds
submit updates - 27 seconds

For 7.1:
delete - 85 seconds
submit delete -13 seconds
update from prod - 57 seconds
submit updates - 27 seconds


WTF ? Since these are VMs on the same PC (and one is the other just upgraded from 6.7.2) I tried to keep as many variables down as possible.

Why would deletes be that bad ? I know, talk to support.

is there difference in the way the VM instances configured ?

We always had bad experiances when using TS on VM. CPU spiked to 100% even on a click of the Edit DCR button
