Form parameter(s)...

Asim1

Hi.

I have a page, and action is: done_page=/iw-bin/custom_import_validation.ipl?vpath=$vPath&vpostingID=postingID
.
< form name="selectDirectory" method="POST" action ="/iw-cc/import?vpath=$vPath&done_page=/iw-bin/custom_import_validation.ipl?vpath=$vPath&vpostingID=postingID">
< INPUT TYPE=\"HIDDEN\" NAME=\"postingID\" value=\"98765\">
< input type=\"submit\" name=\"submit\" value=\"Next\">
< /BODY>
< /HTML>
< /form>

on the receiving side.

my $cgilite =TeamSite::CGI_lite->new();
$cgilite->parse_data();
my $vPath=$cgilite->{'form'}{'vpath'};
my $locDir=$cgilite->{'form'}{'vpostingID'};

Issue is that I always get vpostingID value empty instead of "98765"

Please help me out ... Thanks.

With the syntax like that you are posting the Form to /iw-cc/import, not to the "done_page".

Note that import itself passes absolutely nothing to the "done_page". So, you'd have to do something
like <...done_page=whatever?vpath=$vPath&vpostingID=$postingID>
assuming that Perl variables $vPath and $postingID have proper values

Also, if I were you I would probably use window.open() instead of the Form posting, import
probably ignores posted data anyway
