Hi,

I am migrating dcrs from one branch to another through a script using putty successfully, but when I am trying to call the same script through TS UI (customized link in Action menu) it is not working because I don't have write permissions. Please let me know what can be done. TIA.

You can re-configure your custom Menu Item to impersonate logged-in User. Like this:
"/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/Your_CGI_Custom_Menu.cgi"

Then you simply do not have a writing access to the Target Branch/WA or perhaps execution rights
for the Script. Get them. No amount of TS mickey-mousing will give you access rights denied by OS.

Note that the fact that you are able to do it through putty does not mean much. Putty is a Client,
it all depends on the Transport it's really using and how putty is configured to log-in to it ( could be
SSH, FTP, SFTP and whatnot)
