Getting the Error Unable to connect to the remote server

I am getting the Unable to connect to the remote server erro when I use the GetJob webservice call. This call wors from development PCs(Windows XP) however when I run the code from the Prouction Server(Windows 2003) I get the the error. Caould anyone help me with this. This is very critical since it is effecting the ngo live of the code.
