Update .page component without having to do one by one

Hi,

Has anyone encounter this requirement before ?

1) I created newpage.page (with all components assembled)
2) I edit Component A
3) The typical way is to open up/clicking the newpage.page and update manually and Component A will be updated.

Is there anyway to let the system auto update the component in all .page which I have created ? Without having to open up the .page one by one.

Imagine you have 1000 pages created. In oder to update the component, you need to open up 1000 pages "manually" seems a little impractical.

There is an option available under LiveSite menu with the name "Get Latest Components" which updates/overwrites the components/templates in all the pages in a particular folder.
In this case, you can select the root folder or whatever folder you want to update, choose component and/or templates and in options, there are 3 choices available :-
1. Update all - which will update all the updated components(newly submitted components) in all the pages in that folder
2. Overwrite all - which will overwrite all the updated components(newly submitted components) in the pages in that folder
3. Manually compare, update or overwrite - It will list the pages as per the components used. You can modify the list by choosing "View by component" option which will list the components and group the pages using it. You can then perform the mass update/overwrite by choosing the appropriate option.

For your scenario,you need to choose option 3 and update only the selected component. If you are sure, only one component has been modified, you can choose option 1.
