Attaching file issue in workflow

I am having a customise broswe call out button in DCT which browses file from other workarea. When I am trying to deploy dcr through workflow, i am not able to attached the broswed file.

I know the we have to provide the path relative to the workarea where DCT resides.

i,e
AddFile(/asset/images/test.doc,"Attaching Resource File");

But my concern is how to attach files that resides at other workarea.

We can't provide vpath or absolute path to the AddFile();

I would appreciate if any one have solution for this.

A workflow task can only contain files relative to a single workarea on a single branch - period.
If you have a branch with multiple workareas and the contents of those workareas are not kept in sync - there is a problem with your architecture / design / implementation which should be fixed (in most cases, a single shared workarea per branch is a much simpler model to work with - for various reasons)
If you feel you must process files from two different areas in a single workflow - your only options are:

Basically you should go back to the beginning / source of the problem which may predate your involvement there - and see if you can get things fixed correctly rather than continuing to pour time into working around a questionable decision made upstream - at least that's my opinion, feel free to think differently.
