Interwoven/teamsite/httpd/iw-bin
Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/conf/db/

etc
Should I copy all the files manually from these directories to my new ts server from older server or do we have some other options.

You can manually do it or OD it to new box where you have already have OD going.

you could copy those folders with no issue to the new server. you will need to be a ware of permissions and make sure the permission are set. Also you need to see if there are any hard coded values which refers to the old server and replace them with the new server (hopefully things are coded well and no hard coded paths etc)

the others specially what is under iw-bin i recommend coping them individually as you dont want to mess up the new server compiled Perl CGIs. Again you need to check for permissions and any hard coded values in the scripts/configs.

i am not sure why you have java folded under Custom !!. any custom java code should be placed under customer_src as far as i know and livesite_customer_src for livesite stuff.

Planning in the beginning man?things like this much easier. I always have custom changes on a config branch with a workflow to push to iwhome. This makes promotion to another server easier as well as keeps people off the main server.

In our previous server location was that. If I change path directory now, will that not create problem of path if mentioned in files?

This is how our setup works as well, but the major PITA was getting all the perms on the folders/files we wanted to control set up. They are all over the place. Since we can't have root on our servers, and lots of default perms on files/folders after installation are root owned, this can be a tedious process.

You should be doing that when you are a paid-by-the-hour contractor.

When I was a paid-by-the-hour contractor, something like that would take 3 months of 60 hour weeks to do.
