versioning of DCR's

Hi All,
We have a project requirement :-
As we submit the generated html file using a DCR and Presentation template a new version is created. Along with this , we want a new version to be created of that particular DCR also. Is it possible?

May I ask why you want/need this?

Other than, blow up the size of your backing-store?

Or do you actually mean, "if we submit a generated file we want the corresponding dcr submitted with it as well, (and thus have the dcr versioned)."

Yes - it's possible - you simply need to add code to your workflow so that it can determine if a file is generated and, if so, attaches the correspond DCR to the job as well so that when the submittask is run, they both get versioned.
