What should be an ideal Database size for a Report center? What factors does it depend on?

Should a Report Center component be installed on same windows server as Team Site or seperately? What is advisable? What can be the limitations?

What should be an ideal Database size for a Report center? What factors does it depend on? Should a Report Center component be installed on same windows server as Team Site or seperately? What is advisable? What can be the limitations?

We're on 6.7.2 SP2.

The database will grow without bounds, so any size you pick to start out with will keep growing. In our environment, we hit 20GB pretty easily. It may grow a little more slowly, if you don't enable the optional logging events:

log_setea=yes
log_deleteea=yes
log_renamefse=yes
log_createfse=yes
log_modifyfse=yes
log_destroyfse=yes

Also, if you don't want to report on Workflows, then you can probably do this, too:

delete_jobs_on_completion=false

Since it is using the event log as the source, generally, the more you use the system, the more events there are and the more your RC DB will grow.

Also, in our environment, we have RC installed on same server as TS with no issues.
