java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server

when uploading certain kinds of file like ppt,doc,xls, this kind of error occurs:java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server, it seems server could not allow me to submit the file. Is it related with JSSE or JRE version? Could anyone help on this issue?

-Are you using the import functionality to upload the files?

-What is the size of these files?

-Are you importing all files at once?

-Check the log files for additional errors.

It could very well be the JRE/JVM version - what version are you using in your browser? What browser are you using? For that matter, what version of TeamSite are you using?

Teamsite version is 6.7.2 Service Pack 2, I am still in asking user's JRE version,he sent me a blank [about Smiley Tongue

This issue was resolved by update JRE to version 6 at client side.

The issue reoccurred after 2 days user updated his JRE, and it's strange the import error only happened in CCStd mode using both IE and Firefox.The browser version are IE8 and Firefox 3.6.13, the Java version is [Version: 6.0.230.5 Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_23 for Mozilla browsers],could anyone help on this?
