Dynamic value to timeout link in WFM

Hi,

Any Idea how to assign dynamic value to timeout link of WFM.

here is requirment:

user will provide deploy date (testdate variable)-> dummy task -> (time out link will wait till date provided by user) -> deploy task -> end task

You can put the Timeout Duration of the timeout link to (Variable Type) CONFIGURABLE. That way the user will be able to enter a date/time.

Is the user providing the timeout information during job instantiation - or after the job has already been instantiated?

If the former - then Wolfwood's recommendation is pretty much spot-on.
If the latter - you need to capture the information (presumably a CGI Task) and then get a handle on the DummyTask so that you can programmatically reset the timeout value (a default needs to be provided) based on the information captured (this can all be done within the same CGI Task program).
