How to use sub defined in TeamSite::PT:iw_perl in a custom perl module

I am able to create custom perl module in /iw-perl/site/lib to be used in tpl. However, I am not sure how I can make use of the submodules defined in TeamSite: Smiley Tongue

T::iw_perl within the custom perl module.

In my custom perl module, do I include module name like followings?

use TeamSite Smiley Tongue

T::iw_perl qw(iwpt_dcr_value);

In my subrountines within my custom module, can I simply call iwpt_dcr_value() like followings:

sub isPeriodSpecified
{
my $node = shift;
my $startDate = iwpt_dcr_value('node.start');
my $endDate = iwpt_dcr_value('node.end');
if ($startDate ne "" && $endDate ne "")
{
return 1;
}
return 0;
}

I am getting Preview And Generate Error... I tried calling TeamSite: Smiley Tongue

T::iw_perl::iwpt_dcr_value(), but it also not working.

Anyone know how to use TeamSite: Smiley Tongue

Your modules should probably be using TeamSite::XMLnode not TeamSite: Smiley Tongue

T::iw_perl -- and they should be written based on using actual XML nodes and not the XML-ish interface from old-style PTs.
