We have some code that adds dependent files to a filelist based deployment when the content is generated. For example, image files are added to the filelist when publishing a content page so that both the page and required images are pushed to the server. These images may need to be purged from our Akamai image server farm. We run a DNR script to do this. It checks the OpenDeploy information stream to see if any of the cached files are part of the stream. If they are, they are purged from Akamai. Our issue is that files included in the filelist, even if they haven't changed, are being included in the information stream and so purged, unnecessarily, from Akamai.I have a comparisonRule of dataDifferent set to yes. Are these rules ignored for filelist based deployments and the files always pushed and included in the stream?Has anybody come across this before and have a good solution to it?
