How we can use the variable, which represents workarea path, in datacapture.cfg?

Currently, I use the absolute path to specify the perl program. (on line5 in following sample configuration) .
However, I would like to replace workarea path with some variable if possible.
Then, I will be able to reuse this datacapture.cfg from other workareas without any customization.

Inside the perl program (test.ipl in following sample program), I could use interwoven variable with $ENV{'IW_WORKAREA'};
I am looking for similar solution in datacatpure.cfg

You should keep your .ipl under iw-home. A good practice is to create a folder for your custom scripts under iw-home.

This way you won't have to change the file location for each DCT. And as you have said, you can use $ENV{'IW_WORKAREA'} inside your script.

I think the question was about using a token / variable of some sort to represent the path to IWHOME within the DCT (not the script) - I don't believe there is any [supported] way to do that.

It is fine if I can confirm there is not [supported] way to use interwoven variable in datacapture.cfg. I just feared I could not find it out due to lack of my experience.
I will follow the practice, which Mav-san has suggested, to solve this problem.
