tracking user searches

Greetings,

Our MediaBin 4.6 client wants to know if there is a way to track what users have been searching on with the Find and/or QuickSearch items.
Is there anything in the Audit Log perhaps, or any other way to deduce that information?

Not OOTB. We did a customization for a client on the classic web client to record whatever a user searches to a DB table. If you have done any customization with the web client this is something that can be accomplished fairly easily.

I haven't used MediaBin for many years, but if memory serves me correctly doesn't it run on a Windows server using IIS and ASP pages? Can you get that info from the IIS logs assuming that the post parameters are getting sent to the search pages. Again, I'm just guessing.

Along the same lines, would there be some MediaBin log we could enable that could track it? I guess not because that would we OOTB.
