Nothing happens on Save of DCR

Hi,
when i am opening a new entry form and trying to save, nothing happens on the save. when i hover on the save button, it seems controller doesn't move to iw_wizard_doFinish(); method , not getting any error though.
in my templating.cfg file, i have added the attribute
viewoptions actionlist="save;preview", i dont see the save and preview options on opening the DCT

Is the any formAPI code embedded?
You need to attach your DCT and templating.cfg.

attached is the templating.cfg (just the code snippect for the problematic dcr not the entire templating), datacapture.cfg and datacapture1.cfg, datacapture.cfg calls the ipl which inturn creates the datacapture form. so i have renamed that to datacapture1

In case there is formAPI code in your datacapture.cfg, comment out that portion and then check. Most probably your error will be gone. Then you'll have to debug your JS functions one by one.

i did that, commented all the formAPI code but it didnt work. please find the 3 files 2 dcts and templating

i did that actually , but nothing is happening do you think apart from templating.cfg and dct is there anything else needs to be done if the form api is not used i mean any configuration?

You may try to your DCT simpler to start with. No FormAPI, No callout loading. Try what bare minimum works for you. Then keep on adding things incrementally.
That's how I'd approach this problem.

absolutely correct. i did a step by step debugging, what i observed is "tinymce" field type is creating this problem. its weird behaviour. also i noticed that it doesnt show the tinymce toolbars and hangs when u click on that field. i am using 6.7.2 no SP. one more thing, when the tinymce is inside the collapsed container, it showed me a save option then i can click, expand the container and can save but when it is outside collapsed container, it doesnt allow me to save the form?

You might want to try getting the SPs installed, although I don't see your specific issue referenced in the release notes, I do see a number of TinyMCE issues resolved within the SPs:

in IE7.0 i am getting the error msg as "tinymce is undefined".
