No Vaibhav, We can not add custom button in DCR. you need to think different alternative to achieve this. ThanksPrashant. D
You can use the CGI callouts to provide upload functionality in a DCT. Why cannot you do that?
Thanks for you response. I can do this, but i want "Import" button on top, by which will call the CGI and by that i will import the files into the CMS. I have read the posts, but all are saying it is not supported to add new custom button in the DCT. So i have another idea of giving different lable to "Save As" button.I will rename the "Save As" button to "Import" and call the CGI on this button event. Can this be possible ?ThanksM using TS 6.7.2OS: Win 2003
Theoretically, almost anything is possible - but changing the labels and/or functionality of the buttons that appear in the top-frame of the Edit DCR window is not supported - that frame is used by all DCTs and so even if you manage to do it, the change would probably affect all DCTs - not just a specific one for which you might want the functionality. If you're willing to go "outside-the-box" (i.e. unsupported) - you could try to find the JSP code (at least I assume it's a JSP) that's responsible for the Edit DCR window - copy it into IWHOME/local/config/lib/content_center/customer/src/src in the appropriate location (TBD), modify it to read an additional directive from the view-options directive in the templating.cfg and then figure out how to render the button and associate the proper command to it when it's listed in view-options.The easier, supported, option - as has already been noted - is to put an import button into the DCT proper (top, bottom, next to one or more fields where it would be appropriate, etc.)
