Can't import file in CCStd mode

User can't import file under CCStd mode.The error message was java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server. The browser version are IE8 and Firefox 3.6.13, the Java version is [Version: 6.0.230.5 Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_23 for Mozilla browsers],could anyone help on this issue?

java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server.

I have faced the same error today while importing/downloading any file using IE7. I was able to overcome this by taking following basic steps:
Closed all applications.
In Internet Explorer, Tools -> Delete Browsing History -> Delete all
Delete all files under C:\Documents and Settings\{UserName}\Local Settings\Temp
Restart.

See if it help. By any chance, did the user have multiple versions of java installed on his/her machine?
