Out of date components

TeamsiteDev

Hi,

I have to generate a list of all the pages which have out-of-date components along with the Component names. Is there a CLT which I can run on a page and get all its components and their versions ?

Regards,
Ankit

There is no command line tool that I am aware of.

You may be able to write a script to find the information you require although I suspect it is not as easy as it should be.

There are various elements on a .page file that look like candidates that could be used
e.g. BaseComponent Version="****"

Even then, I'm not sure those are forward-compatible, what with the new dependency manager taking on a lot of such things in 7.2+.

Your best bet today is to write a script, either scanning those EAs or page-scraping the "update pages, manually compare" screen. Hopefully, v7.3 will introduce additional APIs in the CSSDK for LiveSite functionality.
