workflows unavailable for non-master users

Hi,

TS 6.7.2 SP2 on Windows 2003

Selecting a file and clicking 'Submit' only displays the default 'Submit Workflow'. none of the other configured workflows are visible for any non-master users in any branch. Once we turn the user to a master, all workflows become available and everything is normal.

This used to work fine until few weeks ago and (believe me), nothing changed and now only master users can see all the workflows while non-master users can only see the default workflow.

any pointers on how to fix this? definitely appears to be a permissions issue but couldnt figure out so far.

There are two things I can think of:

1. roles: in a recent version (6.7 or 7.x?) Iwov introduced the concept op workflow-user & -admin roles. Maybe check this for your version & environment.

2. Read access to the admin/workflow branch: maybe check that your users have read access to the STAGING area in this branch. We have issues on 7.x where the master-administrator has by default no rights on the workareas of this branch.
