How to disable the Visual preview toolbar

Hello, i need to disable the visual preview toolbar (the one that gets injected in every file you view inside TeamSite).

According to the unix admin guide i did the following to the .../etc/iw.cfg

[iwproxy_smartcontextedit_allowed]
#
# These rules allow the smartcontextedit feature to be enabled/disabled
#
_default=yes
#_regex=.*/WORKAREA/smartypants/.*\.cgi(\?.*)?$=yes
_regex=\.html(\?.*)?$=no

However when i click on an html in my TeamSite branch the toolbar is stil popping up....

It would be very good if the toolbar could be disabled with a parameter in the url of a given .page, for example:

http://****.yyy.italy/iw-cc/command/iw.group.preview_file?vpath=//xxxx.yyy.italy/default/main//sites/asdasdasdasdrc.page&param.preview=false
Any ideas?

What verision of TS? OS?
I think you are on linux env, what you did seems right.
Did you run iwreset?
are you modifying the right iw.cfg?
try disabling it for all _default=no to see it working first, then start restricting it.

Try adding:

_regex=\.page(\?.)?$=no

then run iwreset and see if that fixes the problem -- based on the URL you showed the file is .page not .html.

Don't you need iwreset -a ? This requires a proxy restart, IIRC.

Possibly - actually it would probably be easier to just restart iwproxy and forget the iwreset part altogether.

I am indeed on Linux (Red Hat 5.4), TS: Interwoven TeamSite 6.7.2 Service Pack 2

I modifyed the following file:
/Interwoven/iw-home/etc/iw.cfg.

With the following lines:

run:
iwreset -a.

Result:

When i click on any file under teamsite workarea i see the VisualPreview toolbar...

I'm not sure about Linux - but on Solaris you have to edit /etc/iw.cfg - not iwhome/etc/iw.cfg

that is true for linux too, default is /etc/iw.cfg

Thank you very much guys... i did not run a search for duplicates of iw.cfg since the unix admin states:

Chapter 2
Configuration File Overview
Most of the settings for the TeamSite server are configured in the main configuration file,
iw-home/etc/iw.cfg (default location).
