help on itemref attribute of container

there is a parent container with fields say for e.g. name and address. there is another child container in it having the same 2 fields. this child may have sub children again with the same 2 fields and so on. can anybody guide me on how to use itemref attribute to achieve this?

hey, in tried this. my code is as i ve written in the attached file. but it behaves as a replicating container. Is it mandatory for us to use "or"? can an itemref work on an item instead of a container? i am not getting the proper o/p. can you plz give me a lil more help?

It has to be "Or" container. The reason behind this is that an infinite loop miget get caused otherwise.
