DataDeploy is deleting on updates and will not do new row..

We're having an issue where we just upgraded OD from 6.0.2 to 6.2.1. and what is happening is that when doing a new entry no row get inserted and the OD logs say it tried to do a "delete" since no record what found, and when we actually go to do an update OD ends up deleting the record. OD logs aren't providing much in detail as to why this is happening . OD is making a conection to the DB its just doing incorrect updates and new entries.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm also noticing an error in od.log that says:

DNR child2 user failed to initgroups because it OD was not super-user

I believe we figured out the issue. The deploy.cfg had no entry for the TeamSite version. We had expierenced a similar issue when we upgraded OD on our DEV box which was 6.5 about a year ago and had to add that entry. Even though the OD 6.7.2 documentation states you do not have to specify that in the deploy.cfg, I guess it must have at least some entry there.

DBD: Path not found -- interpret as 'NotPresent'

Solution:
1. Check the file is present or not in physical location
2. Check the Teamsite version is specified or not in deploy.cfg and whether its correct or not
3. Check the file permissions
4. If you are using TS as source, it will accept path starts with /default
5. Please confirm are you facing same issue with deployment owner root as well

The problem was the lack of a Team Site Version entry in the deploy.cfg file in OpenDeploy. Once we added this to deploy.cfg the DD deployments worked fine. Thanks.
