Hi Alex, I also have the same requirement of adding the head element. I was going through the article before implementing the RuntimePage java program and thought I will clarify before spending any time on this program. Is the RuntimePage deprecated 7.* onwards.Using the pagetoken only way to add the script element in page header. Is there any more information you can provide on this if you can. Thank you in adv for clarifying.
Either Use $PAGE_SCOPE ,
Which involves the java development
Modify the page layout
The user should pass the whole code like

If user want to pass only the /****/css/****.css
Need to modify the page layout again
Or Use Component
No java development need
Modify the page layout to add the special component
Component can control the user inputs (like part of the code or the whole code )

Hi,This is concerning TS 6.7.2.0 and SP 3.1I would like to include some global assets (css files) in an html page generated from a sitepublisher place. I know how to add them if i modify the xsl of the corresponding pagetype and run LS toolkit.is there a more flexible way which doesn't require rebuild? or some technique that doesn't require access to iw-home filesystem?
Why did everybody jump to the Java route on this? You can add CSS and JS links on all pages in a site by referencing them in the default.site file. This requires no rebuilds, no file system access, and no development. Now, if you omitted other requirements such as "all sites in the whole implementation" or "prevent users from opting out of these includes" or "dynamically compute which stylesheet based on something", then Java makes sense. Under normal circumstances, the above is the easy answer.
