iwmnt in TeamSite running in Linux box

The KB Article #1669 says that the iw.server start up script (iw.server) effectively does the following to create the iwmnt mount point:

mkdir /iwmnt
mount -o vers-2 hostname:/iwserver /iwmnt

My question is that I don't find /iwserver in my TS server. All the documentation says that this share is required for the creation of /iwmnt and /.iwmnt but I am not able to see this /iwserver directory. How it is
possible to create the mount without the /iwserver directory ?

I believe 'iwserver' is the symbolic name for the share - not a physical directory
