Open Deploy Failing (Connection failed: Could not find matching OpenDeploy client)

Below is my scenario :

I am doing a directory comparison deployment.
There are two target servers.
The source folder size is huge (around 50 GB).

Now when i am running the deployment it successfully transfers the content to one server But for another it fails and gives the following error in source log file :

ERROR: Connection failed: Could not find matching OpenDeploy client.

NOTE: I have checked that the receiver is running and the version is same as the source OD server.
Also, the in odbase.xml , allowed hosts and allowed directories are configured correctly.

Please can somebody help?

I think either you are wrong about the allowedHosts being configured correctly on the second receiver, or the receiver wasn't restarted after those configuration changes were made.
Is there anything in the receiver-side log files?
Are you going through a firewall that does NAT?

And Yes, We are going through a firewall.
The idle timeout for it has been set to 180 mins.

Could you please check the OD reciever or base on your target server because that OD reciever is not binding to right ip address, please check the host file and do the telnet on target server and then you can find because od reciever is running and because of the error in the host file it binds to localhost but not the actual ip address.
