Hi,
is there anything related to classes/categories in teamsite like we have in documentum and sharepoint, filenet to differentiate the content? For eg: employee classs with properties as emp no, dob, etc.

Not really sure what you are asking here. but Ill have a crack.
Templated content (DCRs) is separated into content categories/content types. Each content type has its own specific set of fields. You can tell what type a file is by checking its extended attributes. you can also look at extended attribtues of generated content to see what content type is was generated from.
For non-templated content you can define metadata rules using regular expressions, and define specific metadata files to set as extended attributes against the files that match those rules.

thats fine.
Actually i am migrating the content from documentum to interwoven. in documentum they have class as employee, but in interwoven we dnt have that as such. that class has properties like, employee name, dob, age, etc. how to map those properties in interwoven? should i create those properties using iwextattrib?

extended attributes would be the best approach
