Metatagger & SitePublisher Taxonomy

I'm evaluating few options and best practises as to when it is advisable to use either Metatagger or Site Publisher to manage taxonomy in an Interwoven solution.

Few pointers on below could be very helpful -

1. Technical datapoints on basis of which evaluation should be made between either of the tools
2. Any way to integrate Tagger UI to associate EAs to taxonomy
3. Implementation best practices
4. Integration options within DCTs, systems, etc...

Any pointers?

MT and SP are two different products and they do different things.
When it comes to working with metadata and taxonomy, MT has a lot of more features (content analyzer, auto suggest metadata, auto categorization...) than SP, but if it is a bigger investment.
If your goal is to just manage taxonomy than SP might be enough... but if you have other requirements then you might want to look into MT.
