OD configure DNS

Hi,

I have OD reciever 6.2 on Linux and it is running fine but the only problem that OD is configured on FQDN but this FQDN has to be resolved from DNS server but OD always go to resolve this fully qualified domain name in the host file and I want this has to be resolved through DNS server instead of host file.

Could somebody help me or put some light on it. In the meanwhile I am reading documentation again.
